Bruno ACCOU - Board Member

45, has a degree in economics from the University of Ghent. Gained special degree in accounting at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in 1984. He started his career in 1987 a the at Sofinal Cotesa NV. After having served as as the Financial Controller, he was appointed General Manager for Sofi Print. In 1993, he joined KBC Securities NV as the Managing Director KBC Securities, where he became Head of Corporate Finance. Also he worked BAM NV - Beheertsmaatschappij Antwerpen Mobiel, as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Committee between 2003 and 2005. Joined to Dexia Bank Belgium as the Director Corporate Banking. Since October ’06, Mr. Accou has been the Executive Board Member of DenizBank.

Eric HERMANN - Board Member

He was born in Belgium in 1958. Following his B.A. degree in Commercial and Financial Sciences from the Université de Hautes Etudes Commerciales, he obtained an MBA degree in Management Engineering from Boston University and Financial Analyst Diploma from Inter-University Centre of Financial Analysis. Mr. Hermann started his career in Eural SA, and worked as Marketing Risk Manager in Paribas Belgium in 1994. Acting as Marketing Risk Manager in Artesia SA in 1998 and has been the Head of Risk and Strategy in Dexia SA since 2001.

Fikret ARABACI - Board Member

Graduate of İstanbul University, Institute of Journalism in 1973 and Marmara University, Faculty of Commercial Sciences in 1979. Mr. Arabacı started his banking career at Ziraat Bankası in 1975. He worked in various İş Bank branches in the internal Audit Department from 1977 to 1985. He has held several managerial positions in the various branches, as well as at the Head Office. Mr. Arabacı worked in the Credit Marketing Department of Interbank from 1985 to 1992. Previously, Mr. Arabacı served as a manager of the İstanbul branch of Dışbank. He joined Denizbank in July 1997.

Hakan ATEŞ - Board Member and President

Graduate of Middle East Technical University in 1980. Mr. Ateş began his banking career as an inspector at İş Bank in 1981. From January 1985 onwards, he held several positions in the operations department and served as the Branch Manager at different branches of Interbank A.Ş. for seven years. He was appointed Executive Vice President of the Central Operations of Interbank before joining Bank Ekspres in December 1994 as the Chief Operating Officer. In July 1996, he established Garanti Bank Moscow and served there for one year as the President and CEO. He joined Denizbank in June 1997 and its General Manager and continues in such role.

Wouter VAN ROSTE - Executive Vice President, Public Project Finance and Corporate Banking Group

Graduate of Limburg University (Belgium), Marketing Department, Mr. VAN ROSTE continues his MBA. Starting his banking career in Bacob Bank Belgium in 1989, he held several positions in Paribas Bank Belgium and Artesia BC respectively as Head of Corporate Sales, Structured Products, FX Derivatives Departments before joining Dexia in 2002, where he worked in Financial Engineering and Derivative Products Departments of Treasury and Financial Markets Group, and in Structured Finance and Export Finance Departments of Public and Project Finance Group. He joined DenizBank in November 2006 as Executive Vice President of Public and Project Finance Group. Since April 2007, he has been the EVP in charge of the Public Project Finance and Corporate Banking Group at DenizBank.

Gökhan ERTÜRK - Executive Vice President, SME and Agricultural Banking Group

Following his studies at Electronics Programming Department of Boğaziçi University, where he also continued his double-major in Business Administration and International Relations Departments. Mr. ERTÜRK started his career at Data Processing Center of Turkish Airlines. He worked in İktisat Bank’s Cash Management and Electronic Banking Department and Türk Ekonomi Bank’s Cash Management Department. He then joined Akbank as Department Head responsible for SME Banking, Agricultural Banking and Cash Management. He joined DenizBank in November 2006 as Executive Vice President of SME and Agricultural Banking Group.

Hasan Hüseyin UYAR - Executive Vice President, Corporate and Commercial Credits Group

Graduate of Eylül University, Political and Economical Sciences in 1983; M. Sc. at İstanbul University Institute of Social Sciences in 1987. Mr. Uyar began his banking career at Garanti in 1985 and worked there as an internal auditor until 1990. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Uyar continued his banking career at Demirbank as Vice President in charge of Operations and Marketing. He worked at Bank Ekspres as the Head of Corporate Credits from 1993 to 1997. Mr. Uyar joined Denizbank in 1997 as Senior Vice President in charge of Corporate Credits and was subsequently promoted to the position of Executive Vice President in charge of the Corporate Marketing Group. Since April 2007, he has been the EVP in charge of the Corporate and Commercial Credits Group.

Arif Özer İSFENDİYAROĞLU - Executive Vice President, Retail Banking Group

Graduate of İstanbul Technical University, B.Sc. in Textile Engineering in 1990. Mr. İsfendiyaroğlu also completed an Executive MBA at Manchester Business School and İstanbul Bilgi University. He began his banking career in 1990 at Garanti’s Securities Department and worked in Garant’s Treasury Department from 1991 to 1996. Mr. İsfendiyaroğlu moved to Garanti’s Retail Banking Department in 1996 as Senior Vice President and served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and CRM Department until April 2004. He joined Denizbank as Executive Vice President in charge of Business Banking in April 2004.

Tanju KAYA - Executive Vice President, Administrative Services Group

Graduate of Gazi University, Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences in 1985. Mr. Kaya started his banking career in Pamukbank as a Financial Analyst in 1986. He served as Marketing Specialist from 1989 to 1992 in TEB, as Marketing Supervisor from 1992 to 1994 in Marmara Bank and as Branch Manager in Bank Ekspres from 1994 to 1997. Mr. Kaya joined Denizbank in 1997 as Ankara Branch Manager and he was appointed as Executive Vice President in charge of the Management Services Group in July 2003.

Suavi DEMİRCİOĞLU - Executive Vice President, Financial Affairs Group

A graduate of the Management School of Middle East Technical University in 1990, Mr. Demircioğlu started his banking career the same year in Finansbank and served as the Group Head of the Financial Control Department until 1998. He then served as the Executive Vice President in charge of Financial Control, Planning and Accounting departments at, Alternatifbank (1998—2000), Osmanlı Bankası (2000—2001) and Halkbank (2001—2002). He then joined Marmara Hotels as the CFO in 2002. Since January 2005, he has been the EVP in charge of the Head Office Operations Group at DenizBank.

Mustafa AYDIN - Retail, SME and Agricultural Credit Allocation and Foreign Subsidiaries and Branches Group Executive Vice President,

Born in 1967 in Ordu, Mr. AYDIN graduated from Public Administration Department of Ankara University in 1987. He started his banking career in 1987 as internal auditor at Töbank. Following his functions in Marketing units of Demirbank and Bankekspres, he worked as branch manager in Bankekspres. He joined DenizBank in 1998 as Kozyatağı Branch Manager. He consequently acted as Zincirlikuyu Branch Manager,Commercial Banking 2nd Region Marketing Senior Vice President and İstanbul Anatolia Regional Office Manager. Since May 2007, he has been the EVP in charge of the Retail, SME and Agricultural Credit Allocation and Foreign Subsidiaries and Branches Group.

Mehmet Ali YETİM - Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking Group

Graduate of Middle East Technical University’s faculty of Business Administration in 1984, Mr. Yetim began his banking career as a management trainee at Interbank in the 1987 and worked in Interbank’s Inspector Board as an inspector, also worked in Izmır and Adana Branches as Operation Manager. Mr. Yetim moved to Chase Manhattan Bank’s İstanbul Represantative Office as an Office Head. Mr. Yetim worked in Osmanlı Bank’s Levent and Şişli Branches as Branch Manager and also worked in Citibank’s as Sales Coordinator. He joined Denizbank as Avcılar Branch’s Manager in 2003. Mr. Yetim has worked in thet establishing of İstanbul Corporate Branch, where he served as Branch Manager until 2006, he has been the EVP in charge of the Corporate Banking Group at DenizBank in December 2006. Since April 2007, he has been the EVP in charge of the Commercial Banking Group.

Bora BÖCÜGÖZ - Executive Vice President in charge of Treasury and Private Banking

Bora Böcügöz graduated from Boğaziçi University,Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 1989. Böcügöz started his banking career in 1989 as a Management Trainee at Garanti Bank. From 1990 to 1994, he worked in Esbank. In 1994 he joined Bank Ekspres and until he transferred to Toprakbank as Securities Manager where he worked until 1997. Böcügöz worked as a Treasury Coordinator and Executive Vice President at Kentbank from 1997 to 2002 when he joined DenizBank in February as Executive Vice President responsible for Treasury and Private Banking.

Oğuz Vecdi ÖNCÜ - Executive Vice President, Central Operations Groupp

He was born in 1961 in Hatay. Graduating from Political Science and Public Administration Department of ODTÜ in 1986, Mr. ÖNCÜ obtained his Master of Arts Degree in International Trade from İstanbul Trade University in 2003. He started his banking career in 1986 in Foreign Trade unit of Interbank. Following his functions as Operations Center Manager and Operations Vice President in the same bank, he joined DenizBank in 1997 as Central Operations Senior Vice President.

Aysun MERCAN - Denizbank Head Office Secretary General

Ms. Mercan was born in Ankara in 1959. She graduated from METU Management department in 1982. She earned a master’s degree in Management from the University of Wales in 1997. Starting her banking career in Töbank as Foreign operations junior associate in 1982, Ms. MERCAN worked for İktisat Bank, Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company İstanbul, BNP-Ak-Dresdner Bank A.Ş as Customer Representative, Corporate Banking Vice President, Corporate Banking Department Head and Member of Executive Committee respectively. She continued her career in Heller Factoring A.Ş. as Assistant General Manager in charge of Marketing, in Interbank A.Ş. as Head of Risk Management and Corporate Credits, in Demir Invest Securities as Head of Project Finance Department. She became Unit Manager in charge of Corporate Credits and Off-Shore Banking in Bayındırbank A.Ş., which had been transferred to Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF), and she took part in the credit follow up, liquidation and reorganization process of SDIF banks merged within Bayındırbank. For a period of more than four years, she worked for SDIF as Project Manager and Advisor in charge of liquidation projects regarding mainly Pamukbank and also EGS bank, Sitebank, Demirbank, Bayındırbank and Esbank in the debt liquidation process of banks controlling shareholders to SDIF. She has been in DenizBank as Secretary General since February 2008.

Mustafa Saruhan ÖZEL - Chief Economist

He was born in İstanbul in 1967. Graduate of Bosphorus University Management Department, he had MA in business administration in 1991 and M.A in economics in 1993 at VirginaTech. He had his doctor’s degree in economics again at the same university in October 1995. Having started his banking career in 1996 in KörfezBank as “Economist”, Mustafa Saruhan Özel was transferred to DenizBank as “Chief Economist” in 1997 and appointed as “Member of Executive Committee of DenizBank A.Ş in charge of Economic and Strategic Research” on September 11, 2008.

Göktuğ DEMİRAY - General Manager, DenizLeasing

Graduate of Ankara University’s faculty of Political Science in 1981, Mr. Demiray began his banking career as an inspector at İşBank in the same year. From January 1991 onwards he held financial coordinator positions at Evyap (two years) and Milliyet Gazetesi (four years). Mr. Demiray has been with DenizBank since its foundation. After 5 years in Branch Management, in 2002 he became Area Manager in Istanbul responsible for Corporate Banking. Since May 2004, Mr. Demiray has been the General Manager of DenizLeasing.

Fikret ÖZDEMİR - General Manager, DenizFactoring

Graduate of Atatürk University’s Faculty of Economics in 1980, Mr. Özdemir began his banking career in 1981 as an inspector at Pamukbank. He has been with DenizBank since its foundation initially starting as the Izmir Branch Manager. In 2002, he was promoted to General Manager of the recently acquired Tarişbank and was named DenizBank’s EVP upon the completion of the merger in 2003. In 2004, Mr. Özdemir became General Manager of DenizFactoring.

Dilek DUMAN - Information Technologies, Executive Vice President

Born in Samsun in 1967, Dilek Duman graduated from Boğaziçi University Department of Computer Engineering in 1990. Ms. Duman began her career as a software analyst at Promaks Inc. in 1989. She joined Intertech as a technical consultant and later transferred to DenizBank's Information Technology Department in 1997. She has served as the General Manager of Intertech from May 2004 to 2008. In March 2008 she has been appointed the Executive Vice President responsible for DenizBank Information Technologies.
