- At our Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting on December 30, Thursday, we announced that our paid-in-capital was raised from 290 trillions to 316.1 trillions.
- On December 23 Thursday, at Istanbul Greenpark Hotel, we promoted the “Cash Card”, applied for Anadolu Emek pharmacy supplier, a service we developed to accommodate enterprise owners.
- We held a meeting at the Esma Sultan Waterside Residence to promote our publication company DenizBank Culture & Art Publications Trade and Industry Co., in short “DenizKültür”. The company will provide cultural services.
- We were the main sponsor for the SME (KOBİ) Congress held in Ceylan Intercontinental Hotel on December 11-12. Our general manager Mr. Hakan Ateş made a speech at the opening session of the congress.
- We organized opening cocktails for our Aegean Corporate Branch on December 7, Ankara Corporate Branch on December 9, and Istanbul Corporate Branch on December 10.
- We were the sponsor of the 2nd International Finance Summit organized by Active Line. Our General Manager Mr. Hakan Ateş made a speech at the summit.
- Our chief economist Dr. Saruhan Özel presented a seminar on December 1 to the investors of Gaziantep. The seminar was organized by our Gaziantep branch and HÜRSİAD (Association of Free Industrialists and Businessmen).
November’04
- We were the main sponsor for the 2nd Agriculture Council in Ankara on November 28-30.
- Our prime Minister attended the council meeting where our Generel Manager Mr. Hakan Ateş made a speech.
- The 7th DenizBank managers meeting in Antalya Belek Xanadu Hotel.
- We awarded branches, which performed successfully in the public offering of our bank and received the highest bids. The awards included trips to Rome and Cyprus, meals for the whole branch, gifts and plaques.
- We sponsored the “Residential Financing Conference” on December 9-10 in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
- We organized an iftar* dinner for our customers from the maritime sector at Ajia Restaurant.
- Our top-level management visited Korteks on November 3 where the success of the DenizBank public offering was told to the employees. Then, an iftar dinner was held for businessmen of Bursa.
- We sponsored the Ankara branch of the nightclub Laila.
October ’04
- On October 24, there was the OPSKO Meeting and iftar dinner at Dedeman Hotel.
- We participated with a stand to the Aegean Agriculture, Greenhouse and Animal Husbandry Fair on November 25, where we promoted our banking products.
- In association with our Nazilli branch, Mr. Ahmet Zorlu gave an interview at Adnan Menderes University on October 20.
- On October 18, at Feriye Restaurant, we held the signature ceremony for the syndicated loan of $ 325 million at a 1-year maturity acquired from foreign markets.
- DenizInvestment took part in the International Investment, Trade and Financing Conference on October 12-13 in Ceylan Hotel.
- Our Agriculture Banking Department represented us at the Bursa Agriculture Fair on October 6-10 and promoted our agriculture banking products.
September’04
- On September 28, we held a press conference at Mövenpick Hotel to publicize the success of our public offering.
- We repeated the cocktails in honor of our public offering in Ankara Sheraton on September 21 and in İzmir Hilton on September 22.
- On September 20, we held an informative meeting about the DenizBank Public Offering and a cocktail prolongé at Swisshotel inviting leading figures of the sector and press.
- We sponsored the Denizli Fair on September 22-26.
- During the months of May-June-July, the Retail Banking Group organized a campaign called “Champions in Antalya” towards branches that sold the highest number of credit cards, mutual funds and signed new school-salary contracts. 3 employees from the top three branches won a holiday for 3 nights and 4 days at Antalya Lares Park Hotel with one guest each.
- Prior to the public offering, we organized informative meetings for our executives mainly from İstanbul, İzmir and Ankara.
- DenizInvestment joined the Investment 2004 Fair in Hilton Hotel on September 1-3
- We were again present in the İzmir Fair as in previous years with our bonus card stand on August 27-September.
- DenizInvestment joined the Capital Markets Arena in the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center on September 14-15.
- As part of the first meeting for the DenizBank public offering, our Advertising & Public Relations Department and the DenizInvestment Corporate Department jointly organized an “Analyst Meeting” in Ritz Carlton on September 3.
August ‘04
- On August 25, our seventh anniversary, we handed out plaques to our retiring “captains”
- Aydın Fettahoğlu and Tülay Kibar celebrating their five years in our service. We organized ceremonies in our Aegean and Central Anatolian Directorates for the same purpose.
