Personal Financial Services: Dexia Bank operates in Belgium as one of the biggest four actors in the field of personal banking. Offering all kinds of banking and insurance services to its customers composed of households and small and medium-sized enterprises, the Bank holds a similar position to that of Dexia BIL, its Luxembourg-based subsidiary. Dexia’s private banking business line developed in time and spread far beyond the frontiers of Belgium and Luxembourg until many European countries including France, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland. Acquisition of Denizbank will enable the Bank to extend its personal financial services to Turkish market.
Treasury and Financial Markets: Dexia’s main activities require its active existence in capital markets. This implies debt restructuring, group balance sheet management, and development of comprehensive solutions for its customers. This unit also offers the required support to the rest of the group.
Asset management, insurance and investment services: These activities are under the responsibility of Dexia Asset Management, Dexia Insurance Services and RBC Dexia Investor Services respectively.
