DenizBank is becoming more active in Export Credit Agency transactions, commonly known as ECAs. Export Credit Agencies are public agencies that provide government-backed loans, guarantees and insurance to corporations from their home country that seek to do business overseas in developing countries and emerging markets. Most industrialized nations have at least one ECA. Here is a list of the main ECAs (with related country).

Syndicated Loans
Syndicated loans are capital market products and, like bond issues, serve to procure capital. Syndicated loans involve two or more banks forming a syndicate and undertaking to grant to the borrower a medium- or long-term loan based on a standard contract under equivalent conditions. Borrowers gain acces to international capital markets, enabling them to cover large financial requirements very quickly. The risk is spread over large investor syndicates, which allows large credit amounts to be provided through just one credit facility.
