Secure Payment System is a payment method which safeguards both the buyer and the seller in second-hand vehicle transactions. This system allows you to carry out payment transactions securely through the bank. It makes the payment and delivery process between the buyer and the seller transparent and controlled.

With secure payment, the buyer can inspect the vehicle before making payment and the payment is transferred to the seller after all transactions are completed. By this way, both parties are protected against risks. Our Bank monitors every step of the payment transaction and makes sure that the transaction is finalized securely for both parties.

This system eliminates concerns such as payment security and fraud risk, which are frequently encountered especially in second-hand vehicle purchases and sales. It provides a secure, fast and efficient solution for both buyers and sellers.

How does Secure Payment System work?

The Seller makes an application through DenizBank Internet Banking or MobilDeniz by entering the information requested regarding the 2nd hand vehicle and the buyer. Upon the application, the Reference Number created by DenizBank is sent to the Seller and the Buyer via SMS. The buyer confirms the transaction by making an inquiry with the reference number sent to him/her in the Transactions > Payments > Secure Vehicle Buy/Sell Transactions step on DenizBank Internet Banking or MobilDeniz. Upon the confirmation, the secure payment amount determined is secured by DenizBank and kept in DenizBank accounts until the notary registration process is completed. The amount is automatically transferred to the seller's account upon the realization of the sale transaction in the presence of a notary public.

Who can use Secure Payment System?

The Secure Payment System can be used by anyone who wants to facilitate business and individual transactions. Individual and corporate customers of DenizBank may benefit from this system. It is especially useful in the following cases:

This system allows both individuals and corporate customers to act with more peace of mind in commercial life and facilitates their transactions.

How to Apply to Secure Payment System?

Our Customers can initiate their transactions 24/7 using MobilDeniz or Internet Banking. Transactions that fall on holidays can be realized through notaries on duty.

Can the Secure Payment System be canceled?

The Seller or the Buyer may cancel the transaction via MobilDeniz or Denizbank Internet Banking, if they wish, before the registration process at the Notary Public is completed.

The transaction cannot be canceled after the registration of the vehicle in the name of the buyer is completed at the Notary Public. If the transfer registration process is not completed at the notary until 19:00 on the business day following the application date, the transaction will be automatically canceled by DenizBank.

Which accounts can I use for the DenizBank Secure Buy/Sell System?

If you are a buyer or seller, you can only make transactions through your own accounts. Both the buyer and the seller must have a DenizBank Demand Deposit TL Account. Accounts to be used for buying and selling must be demand deposit accounts in TL currency. The accounts must not be closed or blocked for any reason until the transactions are completed.

Is there a commission fee in Secure Payment System transactions?

In the event that the DenizBank Secure Payment System is used during vehicle sales realized at notary public offices, DenizBank will collect TL 194.31 (one hundred and ninety-four lira thirty-one kurus) for the year 2025 as a service fee for each transaction.

This fee will be collected from the seller, to be deducted from the vehicle sales price which will be transferred from the buyer to the seller. Collection of the fee depends on the condition that the vehicle subject to the sales is registered in the name of the buyer.

TL 116.59 of the transaction fee is transferred to the Turkish Notaries Association as transaction participation share.

BITT is not included in commission fees.

Can I update my application in DenizBank Secure Payment System?

Once the application is submitted, the information cannot be edited afterwards. You need to cancel the application and submit a new application.
