We provide uninterrupted services by giving top priority to your health

We are closely watching the global COVID-19 pandemic. We are taking the necessary measures against situations which may pose a risk in terms of public health across all areas where we operate in 81 provinces of Turkey with close to 14 thousand employees.

We share the measures we have taken and services we provide to protect your health which is our number one priority:

For Our Customers

  • Considering your health and convenience and for the implementation of public health measures, as of 17 May 2021, we serve from 09:00 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 17:00 in all branches.
  • You may realize your banking services 24/7 through DenizBank Online Branch, MobilDeniz, DenizKartım and fastPay applications and calling our Call Center. Until stated otherwise, we would like to announce that no fee will be charged to your EFT and transfer transactions to be by these channels.
  • With the cooperation of TOBB and KGF; we provide NEFES Loan exclusively for SMEs that are members to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) with a grace period in 2020 and 12 equal monthly instalments in 2021 at an annual interest rate of 7.5%.
  • We make the salary payments of our pensioner customers aged 65 and above who are under lockdown in their houses through Vefa Social Support Group.
  • We initiated the Check payment Support Loan and Economic Stability Shield Loan Support programmes announced for SME, corporate and commercial customers by the Banks Association of Turkey as of 30 March 2020.
  • The principal, interest and instalment payments for our retail and commercial customers who make the relevant request can be deferred for 90 days under current conditions.
  • We raised the daily cash withdrawal limit through card or QR code from our ATMs up to 5000 TL free of charge.
  • We maintain our hygiene sensitivity in branches also across our ATMs by conducting controls and regular disinfection practices.
  • In case you need to visit the branch, we have acquired necessary equipment to provide hygiene conditions on a regular basis and continue with these equipment and other hygiene measures without any break.
  • Your entry to the customer waiting area is guided by our security staff to create your area of comfort in the branch and maintain the physical distance in parallel with the sensitivity in this period.
  • While welcoming customers, we conduct preliminary control against high fever symptoms through thermometer devices we keep ready in our Head Office and all of our branches.
  • In this period where we need to pay attention to be contact-free, you may safely realize your payments up to 250 TL through your DenizBank card which has a contactless feature or the QR code and mobile payment options viaDenizKartım application.
  • You may continue to shop online safely using your DenizBonus credit card to cover your needs by protecting your health. In order to activate your card for online shopping, you can give your permission on the Card Transaction Permissions menu through DenizKartım and MobilDeniz applications.
  • You can access all the information you need in order to cover your core banking needs by using digital channels on our webpage and applications.

For Our Employees

In order to protect the health of our employees while they provide uninterrupted services to our customers;

  • We have switched to work from home setup based on a planned schedule.
  • We have postponed our customer visits to resume in healthy days.
  • We started to use plexyseparators in our branches to mitigate the risk of virus spreading through close contact and maintain the social distance.
  • To create an area of comfort inside a branch and maintain the physical distance in parallel with the sensitivity in this process, entries into customer waiting area are realized by the guidance of our security staff.
  • While welcoming customers, we conduct preliminary control against high fever symptoms through thermometer devices we keep ready in our Head Office and all of our branches.
  • No visitor is allowed in our Head Office building other than mandatory cases. Possible visitors are allowed with a HES Code after notifying the Internal Services Depatment beforehand and getting the due approval.
  • In order to prevent crowded gathering spaces, our meetings should be realized online if possible. In case of mandatory meetings, maximum 3 people with two masks on could be present.
  • If commuting takes place in the same vehicle, maximum 2 people including the driver should be in the same vehicle with two masks on.
  • We have prioritized our employees who have chronic illnesses, are pregnant and on breastfeeding leave, whose spouses are healthcare workers in terms of options including working from home, administrative leave or annual leave.
  • International travels have been cancelled whereas the mandatory travels have been held subject to the Head Office permit.
  • The social areas in our Head Office which were closed due to the pandemic, have been opened to use in a way to comply with the rules of normalization.
  • We have restricted the use of dining hall and rearranged the seating groups as per the social distance. While preparing the menus to exclude unhealthy ingredients and by observing principles such as preventing chronic illnesses, vegetables and fruits which will boost the immunity are preferred.
  • Our internal psychologist and dietitian have started to provide online support for our employees to maintain their mental and physical health and get help about healthy eating while working from home, respectively.
  • We support all of our employees with contents titled “Coronavirus Information Series” on topics including the difference between Coronavirus and seasonal influenza, ways of transmission and risky people, protection methods, ways to boost the immunity, nutrition and immunity system.
  • The few employees who are providing services in DenizBank Head Office building are examined in terms of symptoms in Deniz Clinic, and after measuring the fever, running blood tests, they leave for a house rest subject to the followup of our internal doctors. Maintaining the communication with the related persons, in case of running a fever, experiencing shortness of breath, chest pain, bruising etc, we guide them so that they could be put under observation in hospitals.
  • Our employees maintain their trainings without interruption through remote online platforms. We have also prepared our infrastructure to keep our internship programme online.
  • Our employees can also benefit from the loan payment deferral applied to our customers. Those who request can defer their principal, interest and instalment payments due on 31 May can be deferred by 31 July under current conditions.
  • Tapping into our corporate collective wisdom which we always attach importance and priority to in this process as well, we have created a line of communication through which DenizBank employees can share their valuable recommendations and opinions with our Executives.
  • These measures are audited in our Bank by the Occupational Health and Safety experts.
